"This is a copy of the bail conditions imposed on Cartrain the graffiti artist. Cartrain has followed the path of many artists in using found images in his work. One of the artists whose found images he has borrowed is the money making machine that is Damien Hurst. Of course Hurst himself has used found images, including the crystal skull and jewels that he has sued Cartrain over along with the pencil set which Cartrain liberated from Hurst’s instillation. I am sure many would be happy to have bail conditions preventing them from ever having to see another derivative work by Hurst, but banning an artist from going to galleries or posting on the internet?
Hurst is a tosser and needs to be forced to take some responsibility for what is happening to Cartrain.
